# ⚖️ Economy Sinks & Counter-Sinks

#### *The CleanupCentr’s Balanced, Circular, Multi-Token Resource Economy*

The CleanupCentr is built on a **sustainable economic loop**, where every action consumes resources, and every resource feeds into another part of the ecosystem.

To prevent inflation and keep gameplay fair, the system uses a dual strategy:

***

## 🟣 **Sinks**

Resources permanently *leave* the ecosystem.

## 🔵 **Counter-Sinks**

Systems that *offset sinks* by generating or recycling new resources in a controlled, player-driven way.

***

This page explains both — and how they interact to create a healthy, long-term economic structure.

***

## 🟣 **ECONOMIC SINKS**

#### *Permanent resource removals that stabilize the economy.*

These are the core sinks that remove tokens or NFTs from circulation forever.

***

### 🔥 1. NFT Burning (CINDER Generation)

The strongest sink in The CleanupCentr.

Players burn NFTs to generate **CINDER**, and each burn consumes:

* The NFT itself *(permanent removal)*
* **TRASH** as fuel
* Transaction fees
* Energy infrastructure (Simple Core usage)

This keeps supply low and energy controlled.

***

### 🌱 2. Seeds (Consumed When Planting)

Every crop requires **one Seed**, permanently removing it from supply.

Seeds are a top TOMATOE sink:

* TOMATOE → spent on Seeds → Seeds are burned → TOMATOE leaves circulation

***

### 🌿 3. Compost (Consumed When Planting)

Every planting consumes **one Compost**, permanently removing it from supply.

Like seeds, Compost is a recurring sink for TOMATOE.

***

### 🔋 4. Simple Cores (Energy Injection Sink)

Simple Cores are burned when loading CINDER into a farm.

This sink:

* Prevents infinite energy dumping
* Regulates crop cycles
* Adds real cost to farming
* Creates constant demand through gameplay

***

### 🧰 5. Tools (Finite Availability)

EcoSpout and EcoScythe:

* Are not infinitely minted
* Require TOMATOE/packs
* May be burned in blending recipes later

Tools serve as slow-burn sinks in the ecosystem.

***

### 🌦️ 6. Weather Penalties

During bad weather cycles:

* Lower TOMATOE yields
* Higher energy usage
* Longer cooldowns
* Lower farming efficiency

This is a **soft sink**, reducing production output ecosystem-wide.

***

### 🏗️ 7. Crafting & Blending Recipes

Future crafting will include:

* Multi-NFT burns
* Composite items
* Seasonal recipes
* Weather-enhancing gear
* Partner project utilities

Crafting removes multiple NFTs at once.

***

### 🧱 8. Pack Openings

Opening packs removes the **pack NFT** from circulation permanently.

***

### 💸 9. Market Transaction Sinks

Market usage contributes sinks through:

* Fees
* Listing burns
* Resource consumption
* Trade cycles

These are small but continuous sinks.

***

## 🔵 **COUNTER-SINKS**

#### *Systems that produce new resources in a controlled, balanced way.*

Counter-sinks make sure sinks *don’t* drain the economy too fast — everything regenerates through gameplay.

***

### 🔥 1. CINDER Creation (From Burning NFTs)

This is the primary counter-sink to all gameplay sinks.

Burn NFT → Receive **CINDER**\
CINDER → fuels farming → produces TOMATOE → TOMATOE buys new NFTs → NFTs burned again.

It regenerates energy in a **player-driven**, non-inflationary way.

***

### 🍅 2. TOMATOE Rewards

Players produce **TOMATOE** by farming.

This token acts as a counter-sink to Seeds, Compost, Packs, and Tools.

The cycle:

```
TOMATOE → Seeds/Compost/Tools → Burned/Consumed → TOMATOE produced again
```

Balances sinks with controlled, effort-based production.

***

### 📦 3. Pack Drops

Packs introduce new NFTs (Plots, Tools, Seeds, Compost, Simple Cores) in controlled quantities.

Minting is limited and calculated to offset burns and gameplay consumption.

***

### 💠 4. Weather Boosts

Good weather cycles provide:

* Increased TOMATOE
* Faster cooldowns
* Reduced energy cost
* Timing advantages

Boosts counteract penalties while keeping harvest dynamic.

***

### 🧪 5. Crafting Rewards (Future)

Crafting removes multiple items (sink) but outputs new items (counter-sink).

Balanced correctly, crafting ensures resource flow without flooding supply.

***

### 🏘️ 6. Farm Ownership & Rentals

Farm owners provide stable farming capacity, balancing players who burn resources:

* Player burns = more CINDER
* Farm owners = more CINDER usage opportunities
* More farming = more TOMATOE generation

The system stabilizes as more farms go online.

***

## 🔄 **FULL SINK / COUNTER-SINK LOOP**

```
NFTs Burned → CINDER Created → Farming Enabled
Seeds/Compost Consumed → TOMATOE Generated
TOMATOE Spent → Packs/Tools/Seeds Purchased
Opening Packs = NFTs Minted → NFTs Burned Again
```

A perfectly circular supply/demand structure.

***

## 🧩 **Multi-Token Integration**

Each token plays a role in the sink/counter-sink system:

#### 🗑️ TRASH → Sink (spent as fuel)

#### 🔥 CINDER → Counter-sink (regenerated from burns)

#### 🍅 TOMATOE → Sink (spent for farming utilities)

This design ensures a **self-balancing economic cycle**.

***

## 🔮 **Future Sink Systems (Optional & Modular)**

*(Not active yet — subject to development.)*

* Seasonal NFT consumption
* Farm upgrades requiring burns
* Weather-resistant gear
* Partner project NFT integration
* Multi-token resource crafting
* Decorative/cosmetic sinks
* Event-based burn cycles

These expand the ecosystem without destabilizing supply.

***

## ⚠️ **Notes & Safety**

* Sinks and counter-sinks may be tuned as gameplay evolves
* No mechanic guarantees token value or ROI
* Balancing ensures fairness and long-term sustainability
* The system is built for gameplay, not financial speculation

***

## 🎯 **Summary**

The CleanupCentr economy thrives because sinks and counter-sinks work together:

#### **Sinks**

Reduce supply → maintain scarcity → add utility

#### **Counter-Sinks**

Regenerate supply → preserve engagement → maintain flow

This creates a **stable, circular, multi-token resource ecosystem** where:

* NFTs remain valuable
* Tokens maintain utility
* Farming stays balanced
* Burning drives demand
* Supply never spirals out of control

The CleanupCentr’s sink/counter-sink design is one of the strongest foundations in Web3 resource gaming.
